Hello and welcome to Video Sunday!
The theme for this month is ‘Everyday Chic’. Last week I showed you how to make the Curvy Keepsake Box and to carry on with the theme, today I show you how to make a Birthday card using the Everyday Chic Designers Series Papers.
Base
1. Cut a piece of Basic Black 10.5 cm x 30 cm.
2. Score and fold in half so the card base measures 10.5 cm x 15 cm.
3. Cut a piece of Whisper White 10 cm x 14.5 cm and attach to card base.
4. Cut a piece of Everyday Chic DSP 9.5 cm x 14 cm and attach.
Topper
1. Cut a piece of Whisper White 6 cm x 6 cm.
2. Dab the edges with Smoky Slate ink.
3. Stamp a sentiment in the middle.
4. Using a stamp from the Petite Petals stamp set, stamp the image on the top right hand corner. Stamp the image first onto a piece of scrap paper if you just want a faint image.
5. Attach some co-ordinating Everyday Chic Washi Tape.
6. Make a hole in the centre of the Washi Tape and insert an Antique Brad.
7. Finally, using Dimensionals, attach the Topper to the centre of the card.
Thank you for joining me today and don’t forget to come back next week where I show you how to decorate some little jars.
